CORPORATE HISTORY

Millennium Risk Managers is owned by T.R. Enterprises, Inc. and Southern Risk Services. T.R. Enterprises is owned by Tom Roper and Southern Risk Services is owned by Terry Young. Tom Roper specializes in detailed claims administration and implementation and Terry Young specializes in offshore captive insurance programs and a variety of risk funding mechanisms.

Millennium Risk Managers is a risk management company that is Alabama owned and operated. Tom Roper, President, formerly was the Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Hill Insurance Services, Inc. (a TPA) from 1991 through 1999. Before that period, he was a trial lawyer for ten years.  While employed at Hill Insurance Services, Inc., he oversaw all aspects of self-insured workers compensation programs. In 1999, he formed Millennium Risk Managers, LLC with a primary mission to create a service company dedicated to detail and built to provide legal and medical integrated delivery cost management systems to employers operating within Alabama. 

Millennium Risk Managers, LLC (MRM) is a diverse company that has specialized, for a decade, in the third party administration of workers compensation and general liability claims of self insured employers and self insured association group pools.

Millennium Risk Managers’ clients encompass a diverse base of employers which include municipalities, government agencies, health care industry providers manufacturing, retail and service industry entities.

Millennium Risk Managers is a leader in the risk management industry and the programs encompassed within the financial risk management created by MRM have enhanced the loss control and human resource managers’ overall performance of his/her job.

ESPIONAGE DETECTION SERVICES

Millennium Risk Managers offers complete espionage detection sweep services to our clients. Our technicians are certified in this industry and we utilize ONLY the state of the art equipment.  This same equipment is also utilized by every major world country’s government agencies to perform espionage detection services.

Our basic mainline equipment includes the OSCOR, the ORION, the CPM700, and the TALAN etc.

GLOBAL EYE MONITOR

The Global Eye Monitor is cutting edge technology (a patent is filed and pending on behalf of the Global Eye Monitor, LLC) that transmits live streaming real time video directly to the Internet without the utilization of a traditional LAN system and a remote viewer can access the live streaming data from anywhere in the world. The remote user can also have full control of the camera’s capabilities of panning, tilting and zooming.

This unit is self powered by solar energy, DC power and AC power. These cameras can be built into any configuration that is requested such as covert rocks, tree stumps, power boxes or simply a Pelican 100 briefcase. These units also provide two way audio communications without the utilization of any VOIP communications which means there is no need for a VOIP monthly service provider.

BUILDING HIGH END SECURITY SYSTEMS

Millennium Risk Managers builds high end surveillance systems and security systems for sale or rent.

Our clients utilize a great deal of surveillance and there are many times that the target is not in a geographic location conducive to traditional surveillance methods.

We at MRM have invested time and financial resources to build the specialty surveillance systems that meet the demands of the “hard to get to” target so as to enhance the defense of our clients during judicial civil hearings where a claimant is making an assertion that our client is financially responsible for a particular event or situation based upon personal injury.

These systems, generally, are rented to the account’s chosen private investigators who do not have to expend the resources for a specially designed surveillance system that might only be utilized on a very, very limited basis by one private investigator.

VIDEO MYSTERY SHOPPING

MRM’s team also provides to our accounts video mystery shopping wherein our operatives go into our accounts’ business environment and produce for our clients a video which then can be utilized for in house training by our accounts so that our accounts can enhance the end product or service to our accounts’ customers.

This tool has been utilized by many industry leaders so that upper management can assess whether or not the sales environment lives up to the standards and policies established by the upper management and downlined to its distribution or sales offices locations.

MRM’S CLIENTS

Millennium Risk Managers administers the workers compensation claims exposures for approximately 745 employers operating with in the State of Alabama. This oversight function encompasses all levels of the claims administration process including settlements, surveillance, and case management implementation and mediation services.

Millennium Risk Managers manages approximately 10,000 claims annually. 

Millennium Risk Managers is very aggressive in bringing files to a conclusion and closing the same for our clients.  Over the past three year, Millennium Risk Managers has a closure rate of 96%.  We currently are administering 2,765 (this figure encompasses open claims that cover over a 15 year period) open claims for the 745 employers in the State of Alabama.
